Kanber Law Firm is a law firm practising in Istanbul. We advise and represent companies, investors and individuals in a range of areas, in particular commercial and corporate law, real estate and construction law, urban transformation, immigration law and Turkish citizenship.

Preventive advice is at the centre of how we work. A legal review carried out before a contract is signed, a property is purchased or an application is filed prevents a good share of the disputes that would otherwise arise later. Where a dispute cannot be avoided, we conduct the proceedings with the client’s commercial and personal priorities in mind.

Legal questions rarely fit into a single area. A foreign investor’s property purchase involves real estate, tax and citizenship rules at the same time; an urban transformation project touches both administrative law and construction contracts. We therefore look at each matter across the areas it actually involves.

We work in Turkish and English. For our international clients, we take care to explain Turkish legal institutions and procedures in terms that can be compared with their own legal systems.
